KuronekoServer MCS Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set forth the conditions for using the Minecraft server service “KuronekoServer MCS” (the “Service”) provided by the KuronekoServer Operations Team (the “Operations Team”).

Users of the Service (“Users”) shall use the Service only after agreeing to these Terms.

Article 1 (Applicability)

1. These Terms apply to all relationships between Users and the Operations Team regarding the use of the Service.
2. The Operations Team may establish individual rules or guidelines for the Service through in-game notices, the official website, Discord servers, or other means (“Individual Provisions”).
3. Individual Provisions constitute part of these Terms. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Individual Provisions, the Individual Provisions shall prevail.
4. If the use of the Service is subject to the terms of Minecraft, Microsoft, Mojang, Discord, or any other external service, Users must also comply with those terms.

Article 2 (Conditions of Use)

1. Users shall use the Service at their own responsibility and manage their game client, network environment, and account appropriately.
2. Unless otherwise approved by the Operations Team, Users must access the Service only with a Minecraft account they are authorized to use.
3. Minor Users must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before using the Service.

Article 3 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users must not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service.

1. Any act that violates Japanese law or other applicable laws or regulations, or public order and morals.
2. Harassment, threats, discriminatory speech, stalking, impersonation, or other inappropriate communication toward other Users, third parties, or the Operations Team.
3. Use of cheats, modified clients, macros, bots, external tools, exploits, or any other method to gain an unfair advantage.
4. Using or disclosing bugs, vulnerabilities, or configuration mistakes without reporting them to the Operations Team.
5. Any act that imposes excessive load on the Service’s servers, networks, plugins, databases, or related infrastructure.
6. Unauthorized access, traffic interference, reverse engineering, data tampering, theft of login credentials, or any other act that interferes with operation of the Service.
7. Unjust infringement of other Users’ builds, protected areas, items, currency, rights, or gameplay experience.
8. Real-money trading, account transfers, item sales, fraudulent reward acquisition, or any economic activity not approved by the Operations Team.
9. Advertising, solicitation, spam, disruptive behavior, repeated posting of the same content, or any act contrary to the intended purpose of the Service.
10. Use or distribution of skins, images, builds, names, text, or other data that infringe copyrights, trademarks, portrait rights, or other rights of third parties.
11. Involvement with anti-social forces or conduct that supports such forces.
12. Redistributing, reselling, commercially using, mirroring, or proxy-providing the Service without prior approval of the Operations Team.
13. Using alternate accounts, VPNs, proxies, or similar means to evade restrictions or penalties.
14. Any act that unfairly damages the reputation of the Service or the Operations Team, or causes serious disadvantage to other Users.
15. Any similar act deemed inappropriate by the Operations Team.

Article 4 (Monitoring, Investigation, and Measures)

1. If the Operations Team identifies or suspects a violation of these Terms, it may review chat logs, connection logs, gameplay logs, reports, and other necessary information.
2. Depending on the severity of the violation, the Operations Team may issue warnings, limit chat, remove items, perform rollbacks, suspend access temporarily, permanently ban accounts, restrict related accounts, or take any other necessary action.
3. We normally explain the reasons for action and accept requests for review or objections. We may limit the explanation where needed to protect others’ information or avoid obstructing an abuse investigation.

Article 5 (User Data and In-Game Assets)

1. World data, builds, items, currencies, rankings, titles, and other in-game data on the Service are managed by the Operations Team for the purpose of operating the Service and do not transfer ownership to Users.
2. The Operations Team may modify, delete, reset, or migrate user data where necessary for balancing, anti-abuse measures, failure recovery, backup restoration, policy changes, or other operational reasons.
3. Users acknowledge in advance that, except for screenshots, videos, streams, and archives they keep themselves, the permanent preservation of in-game data is not guaranteed.

Article 6 (Changes, Suspension, and Termination)

Planned changes, suspension or termination will be announced on the official website or through other appropriate means, with reasonable notice reflecting their impact. If an incident or urgent security need prevents advance notice, we will inform users afterwards where possible. Any payment settlement or refund follows contract terms and applicable law.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

1. We do not guarantee continuous availability, freedom from errors, suitability for a particular purpose or permanent data storage. Keep your own copies of necessary data.
2. Where we bear legal responsibility, we respond under applicable law. We do not exclude or limit liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence or any liability that law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
3. Users normally resolve disputes with each other or third parties themselves. This does not exclude any legal responsibility we bear.

Article 8 (Handling of Personal Information)

The Privacy Policy for this Service explains the information we handle, its purposes, retention, disclosure and requests for access or deletion. Disclosure to public authorities also requires a lawful basis and is limited to what is necessary.

Article 9 (Amendments)

Changes to these Terms follow the Civil Code and other applicable law. We announce the changes and effective date in advance on the official website or by other appropriate means. Where individual consent is legally required, we obtain it separately.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

Japanese law governs these Terms. The Saga District Court is the agreed court of first instance for disputes about the Service, without limiting other jurisdiction or consumer rights recognized by law.
